WR Plan-B Parents Organization
THIS IS A PARENT-RUN INITIATIVE NOT AFFILIATED WITH WINDRUSH SCHOOL.
Because there is no guarantee that Windrush will continue through the end of the school year, we feel it is time to develop a solid Plan B that will be a viable alternative for our children's education.
Organizational Meeting
If you want to participate in Plan B we ask that you come to this meeting. You may not have to attend further meetings, but it is important for families to have a full sense of what is entailed.
When: Sunday, December 4th at 6:30 PM
Where: Windrush Multi-Purpose Room
Childcare will be available at Windrush for $5 - No meal (bring snacks!)
Draft Agenda
- What this plan is, and what it isn't
- Standards for home schooling, teachers and curriculum, plus after-school setup
- Rough cost model and schedule of payments
- A space or spaces
- Incorporation as nonprofit "East Bay Education Fund", future charter
